Eight runners earned themselves a holiday gift of a class championship in the Barron Holiday series. Club Secretary Jay Wind was the most prolific club runner, as the only entrant in all 5 Holiday Series runs. Jay scored the most points of all runners while defending his 2008 50-59 age group championship.
John Haubert, a board member, becomes the new 60-69 age group champion with the second most total points. Competition in the class was close with Jim Noone just 2 points behind while defending champion Jim Verdier was an additional 5 points back.
