Thank you for joining Potomac Valley Track Club's Young Flyers youth track & field program
We look forward to coaching your young athlete on Sunday, November 9, from 3 PM to 5 PM, at Thomas Jefferson Community Center, 3501 2nd Street South, Arlington VA 22204.
Same structure as every week. Circle time at 3:00 PM, running & walking groups at 3:20 PM, electives including jumps and throws at 4:00 PM, relays at 4:30 PM, refreshments at 4:55 PM, courtesy of Eugene and Deitra Schneeberg and Loilette Loderick
Dress warm, so we can go outside and enjoy the November sunshine!
Our guest speaker after Circle Time is Don Griffith of Roselle Center for Healing to talk about posture and balance. See www.rosellecare.com and www.linkedin.com/in/donaldwgriffith
If you have an area of special expertise, and you want to present a five-minute talk on November 16, 23, or 30, or December 7, we welcome you. Please write back to me.
I want to invite you and your young athletes on Sunday, November 23, to Potomac Valley Track Club's Doggie Dash Half Mile at 2:00 PM and People's Measured Mile at 2:30 PM, starting and finishing at the playground outside Door #12.
See www.pvtc.org/welcome#dogdash to enter. You don't need a dog to run in the half mile race, but it helps.
See y'all tomorrow!
BTW I shall run Veterans Day 10K at 8 AM. I shall tell stories of the hunt during circle time.
Yes, I ran New York City Marathon last Sunday, finishing in 3:47:31 after fighting gale-force winds for the first three miles.
