We thank all our coaches and our volunteers. On October 6, we arrive a few minutes early, about 2:35 PM, to set up a registration table out front to distribute name tags and take late registrations. The custodian opens Door #12 at 2:45 PM. When you enter the gym, please walk or jog one or two laps to warm up, as we start our program at 3:00 PM sharp.

We have some t-shirts left from last year, first-come, first-served. Then we take sizes for delivery in 2 or 3 weeks.

We also take sign-ups to provide post-workout snacks for subsequent weeks. About 60 young athletes typically attend each workout, and a perfect afternoon's snack is 60 clementines / tangerines and 60 healthy granola bars.

Please bring a water bottle with your name on it. Please wear running shoes -- not tennis shoes -- comfortable shorts, and a lightweight t-shirt, as we go outside after we meet, intorduce our coaches, and do our stretching and strengthening exercises indoors. I shall present my usual first-week prepared lecture on equipment. In the second week, we discuss seasonal planning; followed by physiology the third week and my world-famous nutrition lecture on the fourth week, a few days before Hallowe'en candy season.

At all our workouts, we welcome parents to run with their young athletes. Think of it as Suzuki running!

We look forward to coaching your young athletes this season. Welcome aboard!
