Our holiday series of roadraces for 2003 was finally begun after a couple of "false starts". The ByGeorge race was cancelled because of record snowfall and this Easter Classic was moved back from the planned Hains Point to Belle Haven Park again. We did return to our traditional 5 & 10K distances after locating a map in the archives.

The rain quit overnight and a cool breeze and cloudy conditions prevailed. We mustered up quite a few good helpers and unique prizes. There was plenty of lemonade & bananas for refreshment after the race. Our highly prized volunteers were: Bob Briggs, Kate DeAngelis, Carla Convery, Don Riggs, Ray Blue, Jennifer Stephens, Cliff Dewitt, Lee Glassco, Al & Gita Morris, and Victor Litwinski.
